Privacy
The short version
Padwork runs in your browser, on your computer. Your projects, samples, songs and recordings are not uploaded anywhere. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking cookies; the website counts visits without cookies (below).
Who is responsible
The developer of Padwork, a sole trader registered in Poland (full details on request). Contact: support@getpadwork.app.
What stays on your computer
The app keeps its data in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB and local storage): copies of your EP-133 projects made before each change, an offline copy if you make one, high-quality versions of your samples, transcriptions and your settings. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We cannot see or access it.
AI features (splitting a song into parts, transcribing notes and drums) run on your computer. The models are downloaded from this site once and then kept by your browser.
What the website's server sees
The site and the app are served by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and basic request information (such as your browser type) to deliver the files and protect the site from attacks. We use this only to run the site and do not combine it with anything else. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf under its data processing terms.
Visitor statistics
To know how many people visit and which pages they read, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, doesn't build profiles and doesn't follow you to other sites; it counts page views, the page you came from, your country and browser type. The app itself sends nothing.
The "notify me" list
If you sign up on the home page, we keep your email address (with the date and your country) to send you one email when Pro launches, with the beta-tester discount, and nothing else. Every email to the list has a link that removes you at once; you can also ask at support@getpadwork.app. The list is stored with Cloudflare, Inc. and never shared or sold. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
When you write to us or send a report
If you email support@getpadwork.app or send the report form (on this site, or the 🐞 button's Send in the app), we receive what you send and your email address if you give one, for example a problem report from the app's 🐞 button or your answers to the beta survey (the survey page itself sends nothing: it opens an email you send yourself). A report contains what you write, the app version, your browser, your EP-133's firmware version and the app's log; you can read it before sending. We use it only to answer you and fix problems, and delete it when it's no longer needed for that, at the latest two years after our last exchange. Our email is hosted by Apple (iCloud); reports from the form are stored in a private issue tracker at GitHub, Inc., visible only to us.
Purchases
During the free beta there is nothing to buy. When Pro licenses go on sale, payments will be handled by a payment provider acting as the seller; this page will be updated before that.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it. Write to support@getpadwork.app. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl).
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site and answering your messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
